How We Help
EXPERT RV ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
RV electrical systems are notoriously complex, combining 12V DC house power, 120V AC shore power, solar, generators, and increasingly sophisticated battery management systems. When something goes wrong, it can be difficult to pinpoint without the right tools and experience.
At BossBros RV, our mobile technicians carry advanced diagnostic equipment to trace electrical faults quickly and accurately. We test voltage, amperage, continuity, and resistance across all systems to identify the root cause — not just the symptom.
Common issues we repair include dead or failing battery banks, faulty converters that aren't charging properly, shore power connection problems, inverter failures, corroded wiring, and tripped or failed breakers. We also perform complete solar upgrades and lithium battery conversions.
We service all 12V and 120V systems in Class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers — including older units with outdated wiring that may need a full overhaul.
Common Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My RV batteries keep dying overnight — what's wrong?
This is usually caused by a parasitic drain, a failing battery, a malfunctioning converter, or a solar charge controller issue. We carry battery analyzers and multi-meters to diagnose this on-site quickly.
Can you install or upgrade my RV solar system?
Yes — we install and configure solar panels, charge controllers (PWM and MPPT), and battery banks. We also do lithium battery upgrades and can size a system for your power needs.
What's the difference between 30-amp and 50-amp shore power?
30-amp shore power provides a single 120V leg at 30 amps (3,600W). 50-amp provides two 120V legs at 50 amps each (12,000W). We can diagnose and repair both types of shore power systems.
My inverter isn't working — can you repair it?
We diagnose inverter issues on-site. If the unit is repairable, we'll fix it. If it needs replacement, we carry common inverter models and can install a replacement the same day in many cases.
